My topic is about: My topic is going to be about government.

This issue interests me because: Because I think that people should know more about our government.

I want people to learn: That they are a big part in this and what they can do to make changes if they wanted to.

This issues needs to be addressed because: Because if people dont know that they are a big part in their government then they wont try to make the changes and for the people who dont their government they wont know all of their rights.

My game would teach others about how our government works and how they are a big part of our government.

HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?
because all the game will have is government in it so that would teach them about the topic that i picked.

• What happens in the world that helps the player learn?

Because when the player is playing the game. its going to tell them why they got the questions right or why they got them wrong.

How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?

Because when the player gets one wrong he/she will know next time what the answer to the question would be and why its right.

• WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?

because with a quiz the kids would just pick any answer but with a game the kids would have fun learning and getting new information doing it.

Choosing a topic

The choosing a topic that I picked was government, and the reason I picked this topic was so that people will learn more about the government and whats it like and how it works.

My 3 sources are "The Constitution", The Three Branches", and The Bill Of Rights".

climate change/ the emperor penguins

what challenges do the penguins have to overcome?

The penguins have to overcome the ice cold winters and the predators and also to keep their babies alive.

How does their habitat challenge their livelihood each day?

Because with each day you dont know if its going to get colder and also what they eat sometimes they go a long time not eating and the predators that they can have.

what type of adaptions do the penguins need?

They need food and to also keep their babies warm and to keep away from the predators.

Why is there a period of time in which there is hardly any sunlight?

Because when the earth is on its axis and is rotating around the sun and when the seasons change the sun is more away from the part where they are at and thats what keeps the sun from shining one that part of the earth.

Why is it good that the ground to be solid during the time of breeding?

Because if the land is not solid then the breeding wont go to well because the egg has to be kept warm and also the breeding wont work in the water because it is to cold and it would be hard to find food for their baby.

How does climate change negatively impact the mating ritual of penguins?

Because when it gets to hot and the ice starts to melt the ice gets thinner and when that happens the ice beaks off, and there is no way they can breed on that and also when the mom goes off and finds food it would be hard for her to find her way back.

What did you learn from your choice of game and genre to review?: What I learned from some games that I played was how to use my critical thinking and how to move around things in the game and also how the animal cruelty is bad and how to save energy for lights.

name any game features that stood out to you either because there were interested or because they could be improved?: The game that I played with how you save the animals was cool because i Love the colors that they used and also how it was put in order to how it was played.

Race, cars. people, timers, sports, These are all things that you might find in a sports or racing game, these type of games usually have some type of competition that the player must participate in to win the game.

5: how you play the games or games: you have o move the car with your mouse and have to get around the things and you cant bump into them then you have to get to the other side before the time runs out.

strategy games involve the use of critical thinking skills to accomplish a long- term goal in a strategy game their might be a need for analyzing situation to make the best moves possible in order to win the game sometime there are times obstacles to overcome.

2: the game that thought me information about a new or existing social issue: One of the games that I played was to pick up all the trash before the time goes out.

3: The game that i liked the best: The game that I liked the best was the chess game because I had to think alot and try to find the best move.

4: what happens in the game or games: In the games that I played one of you had to do was to move when it was your turn and try to take the other players king. And the other game that I played was the one with the trash and you had to go though the maze thing and pick up trash before time went out.

5:how you play the game or games: The way you play chess is that when its your turn then you have to think really hard about where your going to move your peace were they wont get your king because that is the point of the game is to get the other person king.

An adventure game consists of a central theme or story that the player must navigate through to accomplish the gameplay. There may be some action in an adventure game or a quest to find clues or solve a mystery. The player is not necessarily require a player to have fast reflexes, but be more apt at planning and carefully thinking about accomplishing a task or beating a challenge to win the game.

puzzles and mazes are a genre of game where the Player generally has to solve something. they may have a timer running against them or an and point they have to roaoh before the game ends playing these games usually involves critical thinking and fast reflexes.

In the element game you have to put the elements in the right order and in the blozorz you have to make the block go into the whole or you will lose.

The way you play the element game is that you have to click on the element you want to move and put in the right place, then with the bloxorz game you have to use your arrow keys to move the block into the whole.

Mini Game

Not really do I play games on my free time but when I do I like to play Bejeweled thats my game it like to play. And now I think im going to be playing more games when I have more free time.

Game based on 9-11

I think that it wouldnt bea good game because people think to as like thats nothing to play around with and to make not fun of and i thats right because its just something that you dont make a game out of now if it was a game where your just like put something in memories of those people that died but not a game game. I mean i think it would of been a good game but i think that the fact that people lost to many people and families in that attack.

I was 4 years old when 9-11 happened.

.When did you learn about the attacts and who told me about it.

.I think I was in the 3rdor the 4th grade and my mom and the teachers that were at the school.

. What kind o an impact did it have on your life or your parents lives?

It made a big impact on my life knowing that all those people died and that someone would run two planes into the twin towers. but i think it had a bigger impact on my mom because she was older and she knew what was happening and also because she had me a 4 year old, and she was thinking that god all those people lost their kids.

" Danger of a Single Story"

1: what does it mean to have a single story about a place or community?

what I think it means to me that theres storys about how people look at something and get something thing in there head without getting to know the whole thing.

2: Describe a single story you have heard about your community. What is missing from that story? how can people learn more about that community?

What I heard about my community is that the schools on the eastside of town are bad that we wont leran anything, but the thing that is missing form this story is that people dont know whats going on over here and we are really doing good over here and making good grades. And people can learn more about whats going on over here by coming and looking at what we are doing and how the eastside school are changing.

3: Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn about that story? How can you find out more about that community?

In north Austin there where saying that its nothing but good over there and that they have the best schools. And I learned about this community was that some of my friends were telling me about it. I can learn more about this community by asking people that live around or live in that community.

4: How can a game let players know about many stories about a place or community?

I think that by making a game that people play will let them know about what is really going on over there but the person who is making that game has to be part of that community or place to really let people whats going on so that it will nothing but facts.

1: How does the main character feel about using " clicksters" in the beging of the film?

she really doesnt care for it as much.

2:what are the family situation.

it is real good she gets along with her mom and her brother, but her dad is gone.

3: what type of friendship does she have.

she has good friends that care about her but then she said something wrong about her friend but she still forgave her for it.

4: what happen to taylors " clicksters" account?

it got hacked by someone.

5: who was the culprit?

her brother!

6: what chages do you see in taylor as she countunes to use "clicksters"?

she stars to cry alot and always want to see what people are saying about her.

7: how does taylor react to the mean comments people keep posting about her?

she breaks down and crys and then tried to kill herself

8: does she ever try to stop the people from posting insults and what could she had done different?

no she just lets it get to her and she could told someone about it before it got that bad and before she wanted to kill herself.

9:how do you think that taylor feels about her friends betraying her?

I think she feels bad about her friends doing that to her because one of them said that she was going to stop hanging with them cuase she was getting called names. and the other one was the one bullying her one the computer.

10: at the end?

at the end finding out that her bestfriend did that to her she is still willing to try and make up with her and try to forget about it but it will have to take time.

And its about how not to drity our water and save the fish that we need to eat.
We have did everything we have to put it in order
we have everything done with our team page
And we dont that much more time to finsh our game
work really hard and get everything done
I would give myself at least a 99 because I did get a lot done
Something that I have learned a lot this year like how to do the tween thing and make things moves without the code I was thinking that that was really cool.
Im really proud that I have learned a lot more this year and I got so far in my game
working a little bit faster on my game and dont let anything get in the way of that.

Wow this new thing is like so cool and what makes it cool is that it has 3d and you dont need glass's and you can take it any where. The outside of the cover is like a glossy thing and you can finger prints on it. But it also cost a few they said that it will be $249.99 but just think wow they really made something in 3d where you dont have to use the glass's to see it pop out. And here are some of the colors they come in black and aqua. The nintendo also has a camera.

If I where to market my game I would market it by like T.V go on T.V shows and talk show on the radio and things to get it out there. and if I where to put a celebrity it would be Selena Quintanilla because she was a very kind person ans she just looks like the type of person that would help save the world and stop water pollution.

Wow these kids are really trying to help out because just think it is real sad for the people over there some lost there homes, families, and some even lost their life's. I wish something could happen here at the school so we can do something to help out like do something after school or go even bigger and have something for the community and have even more money to give and I know that they can really need it, I just think that if we do something like that it would be really helpful to the people over there. We might be a small school but I know we can do it!!!

PSP

The PSP is so cool it just wow that someone has made a more and more PSP and you can have it not only in your house but with you and play it where ever you are. Then one that are coming out with now it going to be called the NGP for Next Granderrtion Potable, and its cool that they are coming out with this one because you can play games download music,videos, and a lot more. Sometimes I think will I ever be the one to make something big or a game for something as big as this one, but then you just have to think yeah if I keep up in school and do the things that I want to happen in my life then every thing is going is going to go grate, anything is possible just look at the person who made the PSP he has came a long ways from where he started.

MAD HOT BALLROOM!!
WHAT DOES TEAMWORK MEAN TO ME?

Team work means to me is that you work well with other people and help each other in things.
HOW DO THESE KIDS WORK AS A TEAM??
These kids have good team work because you have to keep time when you dance and if someone forgets then someone has to tell then the count that they left off on, and also when you ballroom dance you have a partner and you also have to keep up with that person and know the moves that they are going to do next so you have to have good team work to do ballroom dancing, or in anything.
HOW IMPORTANT WAS TEAM WORK FOR THESE STUDENTS?
The teamwork for these kids is important because they have to keep up with each other when your dancing and learn the steps together. So it is important to have teamwork when your dancing or anything.
WHAT DO YOU THINKIS THE MAIN MESSAGE THAT THESE KIDS SHOULD TAKE AWAY FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?
That they tried there best and even know that they did win but that does not mean to give up no you have to keep on going and there is always next year.
HOW WILL YOU WORK TOGETHER WITH YOUR TEAMMATES IN GLOBALORIA?
I will help people who need the help because we you dont have teamwork when your working in flash or on your game if you dont have teamwork then its going to be like maybe just one person working on whatever the whole group needs to be working on,but its good to have teamwork because your going to have it and work with it for the rest of your life.

Jlofurbullyontheblock - The one with Jlo you have free the animal because Jlo likes the fur from them, The scocial issue is animal cruelty because of the fur, It taught about the issue because if you get all the animal then you cant ge there fur.

Superchicksisters- This is pklay kind of like how you would play super mario brothers but its nuggets playing. The scoial issue is animal cruelty because you kill the chicks to eat but they kill them in a mean way. The game is taught abiut the game because you have to go to all the levels to save all the chickens.

KFCgame- This one is just the same as the superrchicksisters and played as super mario and has the same social issue

The Wizard At the beginning of the movie, Jimmy is walking down the highway. Where is he going?
Jimmy is going to California .
What is the problem that the little boy, Jimmy, has?
He is really to him self because his twin sister die in the water.
Jimmy likes to stack and build things. How does this relate to video games?
Because you have to stack things like when your stuck on something or have to get out.
Playing video games seems to help Jimmy feel better. Why do you think this is?
I think because its like his own little world and he can get away from things like playing a game.
What makes him such an awesome video game player?
Because he has good consecration and maybe his sister like them to.

That is so cool and you are like making the game as you go, and its good because you use physics eveyday. I can put this in my game and I can do that by like when your under water trying to get the trash from the fish, there can be a part where you get stuck and have to make something or do something that will get you passed what evers in your way. But I really like this game because you have to use your mind to try to get you passed that leavel that you have to get by and it looks really fun for people of all age I would play it!!!!

I think that this is real cool what google is doing this because it gives people around the world to show what they can do or if they just want to do sci. I can kind of see myself doing this but I dont like to do these kind of things for some reason but I think that this it really cool. I think anyone can do it if they wanted to, maybe I will do it who knows!!!!!
